Olsens' Style: I love it

As I always say in my blog Olsens twin are my icon. Here again I still wanna share how their styles are. Olsens are girl with charisma. Even they are not beautiful looking girl; they are so charming with stunning style. They both don't dress head to toe with high end brand but know well how to mix & match. Their style probably can be explained as "less is more".

Hot New Designers From LDW Sept 2011!!! Wowwwww

Men’s knitwear label Sibling has been making waves on the London scene for a few seasons now. This season, for S/S ’12 the design trio, Sid Bryan, Joe Bates and Cozette McCreery have turned their attention to knitted garments for LADIES of discerning taste, and Sister by Sibling is what they came up with.

Cute graphic sweaters, with an ‘all the fun of the fair’ theme. We like the LOVE jumpers (apparently Sir Topshop, Phillip Green put in a personal order) and the krazy kolor leopard print twinset AND the fluffy pink jacket the best of all. We’ll be seeking these out in January in the shops fo’ shizzle!

A favourite, but still worth a mention every season, because he’s so cool, is Piers Atkinson, milliner and stalwart of the Hedonism exhibition. We love his out-RAGEIOUSLY feathery marabou creations, his upgraded violet cherries and these swift-as-an-arrow little numbers. Wedding goers take note, his creations have graced the heads of Anna Dello Russo and Lady Gaga but you too could commission him to make you something special . . . just check out his website, piersatkinson.com Ooh la la!

Zoe Jordan (formerly known Irwin and Jordan) held a catwalk show where we greatly admired their use of silky luxury fabrics to create sporty parkas and shorts, their slithery snakeskin pieces (a massive trend already for S/S ’12) as well as some show-stopping full length jersey dresses. We loved their rusty, metallic palette too and would easily sling one of their sequinned numbers into our basket without a moment’s hesitation come the new season.

Milan Fashion Week S/S 2012 is last show of D & G!!!

Today marked the end of an era as Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana announced that S/S '12 would be the last ever collection of D&G. And what a farewell show it was, audaciously themed as ever, it gave us countless ways to adorn ourselves with a bevy of silk scarf style prints. From bandeau dresses to skirts to embellished 60's style tunics over micro shorts and glorious vibrant print trousers, it has us craving to jump on the nearest billionaires yacht and set sail for Capri. Accessories were big and bold; oversize straw hats, silk print wrapped wedges, quilted shoulder bags and Sicilian style necklaces dripping with gold coins.

But fear not as in a personal statement from Mr Dolce and Mr Gabbana they promise us 'lots of new projects' and tomorrow (Friday) we'll get to see the first of said projects as the boys launch their brand spanking new Dolce & Gabbana fine Jewellery line. Bravo!

We will miss you!!!

Fashion Trends Rocks and Rolls - Return of Denim Jackets

The Denim Jackets are here once again. It’s after a shatter from the leather jackets in trend preceding season that Denims come back in style. But this time 80’s fashion is going to come back live in a more stylized way. Earlier where Denim Jackets were worn out in a more formal look, with jeans and fitted skirts for women.

Today Denim jackets goes more casual. Put on your jacket with rolled up sleeves for more funky look, you can even unit it with a plain loose dress, shorts or wear it in shirt style. Torn effect is in vogue with a lot of washes on the jackets. Today even shrugs/ short coats / jeans are coming in denim, with a lot of light prints over them. They look so cute and nice.

We should also be grateful for the designers for playing a vital role in booming the Denim industry. Where Denims were worn in slight cold weather earlier, today people are wearing it at any point of time, summer or winter does not make much difference. The material being used today is so superior that it does not make us feel hot. The prints over it and the styles available induce us to wear it. After all whatever we say jackets always give a stylish look, if clubbed properly as the whole attire.

Here are two images that shows the best use of Denim Jackets.

FIRST LOOK of Posh's 2nd line: Victoria by Victoria Beckham!!!! (Credit: Grazia UK)

Who is a fan of Victoria Beckham & her brand? She has launched her high street line!!! Victoria Beckham's new baby has finally arrived! No, not Harper Seven, we're talking about Victoria by Victoria Beckham, the designer's new range of dresses. Back in June when the line was first announced, Victoria promised the line would feature 'the perfect little summer dress, something that was fun, something that was girly, something that was easy to wear, something that would take you from day through the night' and all at prices ranging from a far more accessible £350 to £995.

And VB certainly has delivered. The shapes are cartoon simple: A-line styles (very Sixties, very now), some with drop waists, in candy colours or featuring scalloped edge blocks of colour. Beckham herself arrived in a hot pink drop waisted sleeveless number with a peplum style hemline and a black scalloped panel at the neckline. Many of the dresses featured pockets for a super-casual look.

The other key feature of the new collection is the cat and crescent illustrations - supposedly inspired by the feline friend of Emily the Strange, an EMO cartoon character - which appeared on minimalist short-sleeved shirt dresses. Meanwhile Harper herself, FROW for the NYFW presentation, apparently loves the yellow tunic dress with blue cats on. Another pattern, featuring blue clouds and strings of raindrops showed Beckham's love of fashion illustration. Short cocoon dresses in bright green silk and metallic brocade provided more sophisticated eveningwear options, although many of the day dresses could work for both. We're putting our money on the white drop waisted dress to be the first look from the Victoria by Victoria Beckham collection to be spotted on an A-lister.

This was a tightly-edited collection of just twenty dresses, and one which is sure to be a huge hit with those of Beckham's fanbase who can't stretch to the £1000+ price-tags attached to her mainline dresses. As the designer says '...I’m opening these designs to women and girls of all different shapes and sizes, people who maybe want something less tight and clingy and structured. It also makes it more comfortable for during the day. You can wear them with a pair of flats or a pair of heels and they look great.' Although, of course, Victoria herself chose to wear her own VbyVB dress with sky high Christian Louboutin ankle boots...

Who is a huge fan of Carrie Bradshaw? I have learnt good & big news from Grazia UK.

It’s been talked about for months, but now it finally seems official – Carrie Bradshaw IS returning to our screens. No, we’re not talking about a third Sex and The City film (they’re still dithering over that one), but Candace Bushell’s prequel to the show – The Carrie Diaries – has got the go-ahead for a TV adaptation. Woo!

US network CW – home of Gossip Girl – is developing the book into a weekly series. It will follow a teenage Carrie’s adventures as she graduates from high school, moves to the Big Apple and meets the girls for the first time.

Ever since the first whisperings of a possible adaptation, the rumour mill has been in overdrive. It was originally thought Blake Lively would star in a film version, along with Emma Stone, Elizabeth Olsen and Selena Gomez. Now that it has moved from the big to the small screen, we’re guessing those names are unlikely. Boo.

What we do know is that king of teen drama Josh Schwartz (The OC, Gossip Girl) is involved, and that Candace Bushnell herself will be an executive producer.

So, what do you think? Will you be setting your Sky plus for The Carrie Diaries? Can it ever be as good as SATC? And who would you like to see playing a young Carrie Bradshaw?

If you are on diet, why don't you try red grapes!!!

Grapes were first cultivated in Europe 6,000 years ago. They got to America with the help of Franciscan monks, who used them for the purpose of making sacramental wine.
There are over 50 varieties of grapes that are cultivated as table grapes and over 60 varieties of grapes cultivated for wine making.
The nutrients contained by grapes are different from one kind to another.
Still, we can say that grapes are 70-80% water and 15-30% sugar (fructose and glucose).
Additionally, grapes also contain the following nutrients: phlobaphene, quercetine, gallic acid, silicic acid, anin, glucosides, salicilic acid, phosphoric acid, oxalic acid, pectins, tannic substances, calcium, magnesium, manganese, iron, vitamin B1, B2, B6, B12, A, C, P, PP, K, enzymes and folic acid.

In 100g of grapes there are:
Calories: 60;
Carbohydrates: 15 g;
Sugar: 15 g;
Proteins: 21g;
Fat: 21g.

The four fashion trend themes in leather for Spring-Summer 2012

My newest photo from my Trends collection

The four fashion trend themes in leather for Spring-Summer 2012 (Shared on StylePage)

The atmosphere of fashion is modifying: there is a feeling of greater optimism and the color forecasters are seeing the seasonal warmth, enthusiasm and clarity of spring and summer as chief influences on the new color palette and fashion trends for Spring/Summer 2012. Interpreting fashion themes into reality is always a challenge, often made more difficult when applied to such a unique and varied substrate as leather.

It is a challenge that Clariant welcomes and its trend and color forecasts of the immediate past have been enormously accurate. This was clearly evidenced by the offers on show at the most recent Le Cuir à Paris and Lineapelle exhibitions when the finished leathers for Autumn/Winter 2011/2012 were displayed.

Looking even further ahead, Clariant launches its new Global Color Card – developed in close cooperation with MODEUROP, the Fashion Pool at DSI (Das Schuhinstitut GmbH) – as well as its leather trend booklet ‘Fashion Up!, in preparation for Spring/Summer 2012.

Indistinct, washed-out materials and colors have defined the fashion look over some seasons, but the new leather trends for Spring-Summer 2012 are inspired by the mood of exotic high summer and colorful ethnic influences, nostalgia and heritage classics, as well as simple shapes with nature as a source of inspiration.

The Four trend themes in Leather: Moroccan Adventure
An ethnic story centred on Marrakech and the Sahara. Bustling souks, sun-baked walls, camel caravans, Bedouin gowns and colorful Moorish mosaics inspire. Ethnic textures are cleaner and less fussy. Bold stripes, ethnic prints and weaves are mixed with sun-baked matt leather and suede.

The Four trend themes in Leather: Faded Memories
Feminine nostalgia and heritage classics: flaking theatres, ballet dancers, vintage gowns, forgotten sofas overgrown with ivy paint a romantic picture. Timeworn leathers have a sense of authenticity. Crackled and creased finishes have an antique feel while floral embosses, pearlised and subtle metallic finishes are pretty and romantic.

The Four trend themes in Leather: Island Surfer
Rolling waves, white sandy beaches and tropical blooms set the mood for a high summer story. Hawaiian surfer looks add a sportier angle. Tropical fantasy looks, such as exotic reptile and metallic prints, are mixed with sporty scuba Neoprenes, mesh and techy textures.

The Four trend themes in Leather: Minimal
Spotless, contemporary and plain shapes address the minimalist trend. Modern architecture, fashion and furnishings are pared down to make a very bold statement. Refined quality classics with super smooth finishes and sumptuousness grains such as croc and ostrich contrast with techy optical prints and micro grids.
