Goodness. There’s a story circulating the web that SJP is no longer working for the resurrected 70’s powerhouse, Halston Heritage, that she helped to re-launch in such a blaze of glory in January 2010. Although you already heard the news that the CEO - who SJP was closest to - had left in a re-shuffle, it seems that the movie actress and Sex and the City heroine has received less publicity on her exit, and has simply stopped going in after her contract expired (as you would if it hadn’t been renewed).
All this after she gave the fashion line such a great platform by wearing the pieces on the red carpet and getting the name of the brand out there to so many more people than would have otherwise known about it – that SATC fan-base has more than one use, you know. Not to mention the fact that she had boasted of practically being on her hands and knees pinning hems and counting sequins for the brand at one point.
