Yahooooo, who is a fan of Lady GaGa? Gaga To Be SANTA for Barney's!!

RIGHT, everybody. Start saving because we’re all going to Barney's for Christmas!

Why? Because in favour of the usual fat-chap-in-a-suit, this Christmas Barney's have asked Lady Gaga to don a red and white outfit and ask small children to perch on her knee. Well, that’s not quite true, but we’re allowed our fantasies, right?

Barney's have, in fact, unveiled plans for "Gaga’s workshop", a shopping environment informed by the singer’s ‘personal take on Santa’s Workshop, and filled with limited edition gift items developed by Gaga and her go-to fashion friend Nicola Formichetti’, says WWD.

Merch wise, we can expect everything ‘from candies and toys to apparel, accessories, candles and cosmetics’. Amaze. As well as the above there will be jewellery ‘made entirely of rock candy; lipsticks in special Gaga red or pink hues; lip-shaped, hand-painted dark chocolate’ and that Christmas staple - the Rubik’s Cube, only Gaga-fied.

The workshop will take over the whole fifth floor of Barney's with CEO Mark Lee describing the collaboration thus: ‘Holiday is about joy, sharing and inclusiveness, and to me, Gaga really represents all of that… Her platform is so much about positivity, individuality and universality in a very today way.’

Lee also said that ‘I also always have a strong memory of Barbra Streisand singing and dancing in 1964 in that other store around the corner (Bergdorf Goodman) and ‘I thought, ‘Wouldn’t it be great to bring that forward and who would be that pop icon today to do something associated to Barney's?’

Gaga! Gaga!
