Exhibition of Daphne Guinness' incredible wardrobe at New York’s FIT museum! Wowww!

… Of Daphne Guinness? Well how very dare you. Dear old Daphers has revealed more details about the upcoming exhibition of her incredible wardrobe at New York’s FIT museum, which launches on September 16th.  The basis of the exhibition, of course, is Daphne’s immense collection of clothing, from which she has selected 24 pieces of McQueen, garments by Alaia, Tom Ford, Dolce & Gabbana and Gareth Pugh, and couture from Dior,Givenchy, Lacroix and Valentino to be exhibited, some of which have now been pictured in preview images from the show. The exhibition has been co-curated by Guinness herself in a set based around her New York apartment and will include films and images of Daphne alongside her enormous collection of clothes and accessories – all of the above, plus Philip Treacy hats, Shaune Leane armour jewellery and custom designed shoes by Louboutin andNoritaka Tatehana.

Wowwwww, she is my style icon. She knows how to dress & mix things up! Hope I can attend her exhibition.
