Back in January, barely a day went by without a sighting of Natalie Portman trailblazing through the red carpets of Awards Season. During her parade, she accumulated more than a few stunning floor-sweepers not to mention a baby belly, a sparkly engagement ring and a little gold statue. Oh, and did we mention a deal with Christian Dior? What a busy, busy, Ms P.
Then came Galliano-gate. ‘As an individual who is proud to be Jewish,’ the A-list actress said at the time, ‘I will not be associated with Mr. Galliano in any way’. Gulp. And so we wondered, would we ever see more of Natalie for Dior?
Apparently, yes. Because this morning brings a new shot of those gorgeous chocolate-y eyes and that pouty pout which got our spines a-tingling in Black Swan. Tres bien! This one’s for the Diorskin Forever campaign and Natalie looks flawlessly radiant and perfectly sumptuous, naturallement. Rather than the naughty-but-nice girliness that we saw for the fragrance ad, here Ms Portman is all serene sophistication in mocha tones and elegant chiffon. A yummy mummy indeed.
