Ricardo Tisci’s first scent for Givenchy!

In spite of making a significant impression on the fashion world in the six years since he’s been creative director of Givenchy, Ricardo Tisci has thus far opted not to add to the design house’s impressive line-up of fragrances, which started with ‘Interdit’, the fragrance which Hubert de Givenchy created for Audrey Hepburn in 1957.

Now, though, Tisci has revealed his very first scent for the label – Dahlia Noir a ‘couture fragrance’ which marks ‘a return to the roots of exceptional French perfumery and absolute luxury’, combining black Dahlia with iris, mimosa and rose with sandalwood and patchouli. YUM.

Accompanying the fragrance is a candle, bath gel, moisturizing body milk and a skin dew (like body lotion, only lighter, or so we hear). And as the law of fragrance releases decrees, the scent is accompanied by some amazing imagery - a cinemercial directed by Fabien Baron and starring Givenchy muse Mariacarla Boscono, who looks completely smoking in these stills from a ‘behind the scenes’ shoot. LOVE.
